Emerson

Emerson is a Great Kid...

The summer has been pretty much Kid business as usual.. Summer Swim Team, running, slip n' slide, electronics and playing outside.

Emerson's highlight of this past summer has to have been our visit with the Teslows in Shakopee. He had the opportunity to see Josh and Arron and play a little soccer with them.. The best part though, was they helped him learn how to ride the RipStick. He has been trying but couldn't seem to get it.. After the visit with them.. he is pretty good on it now, and loves riding it.

Emerson is keeping up with his running.. while he occasionally grumbles about it.. he is running about 2 miles a day. This should help with soccer camp which starts in August. We keep hearing stories from other parents who send their kids to sports camps who are complaining about how much they have to excercise and just weren't ready.

Emerson is leaving for a 1 week Residential Soccer Camp on Sunday, August third.. not sure mom is ready. After returning from that soccer camp, he will have another week of evening soccer camps with his team. And we are officially back into the soccer season.
